J.C. lives with his spouse and writing partner Barb and two cats (Cinders and Ashes) south of Portland, Oregon, and about a hour from the west coast. During his earlier life, his poetry, non-fiction, and short fiction appeared in a number of genre publications.
Together with Barb, he authors the series and books of the Noble Dead Saga (a.k.a The Saga of the Noble Dead, the Noble Dead Series), their first novel-length collaborations starting in 2003. [Visit NobleDead.org for more information and up-to-date news.] He and Barb also author the ongoing series and sequences of short ebook only works in the project known as "Tales from the world of the Noble Dead Saga."
