I grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and attended The University of Iowa (GO HAWKS!) for my undergraduate degree in English/Secondary Education. I then moved to Denver immediately after graduation (because it is BEAUTIFUL here... ahhhh...) and began my career as a 7th/8th grade Language Arts teacher. I earned my Master's Degree in Administrative Leadership and Policy Studies through the University of Colorado at Denver in 2005 and my Ph.D. in Educational Administration through The University of Denver in 2012. I am grateful and thankful to be DONE with school (for the time being anyway).

There’s a lot going on in this book—maybe too much? That being said, I was hooked right away and tore through this one.
