Steve Henry has done a lot of things in life: worked in department stores, toiled in a ceramic factory, sold beer at racetracks, been in construction, done customer service in banks, worked for the Census and enjoyed working for a few nonprofits, and accordingly made none. But his favorite job was teaching middle school. Those kids are awesome! Such a cool combination of kid and young adult! So, he wrote a book just for them, and maybe their parents If they want to relive the middle school years without having to worry about taking tests.
He lives in the fabled extreme part of Northern California close to the Redwoods and within sight of the Pacific Ocean, both of which he visits as often as possible.
