Born and bred in the UK, I currently live on the Isle of Wight with my wife and two young sons.

Writing has always been a passion of mine, from childhood onwards, though I never dreamed I'd be able to produce something that people would not only read but also enjoy. My first novel, Realmborn, was so well received that I was convinced to give writing a go full time. I said goodbye to my job in sales (no real hardship there) and now juggle my time between parenthood and writing, with the aim of releasing a new book every six months or so.

I write mainly in the fantasy genre, in a parallel universe called The Realm, though I do have some stand alone books both released and planned that are more sci-fi in nature.

Feeling optimistic…which is nice

here[image error]My new novel has been out for just over a week, and there are already two positive reviews posted online. What’s more, they’re from complete strangers, so I know they’re genuine. This is a much more enthusiastic response to the novel than I had been expecting, and I am hoping it could be a sign that Ranidir’s Heir is going to do well.
