Vincent Sweeney was born and raised in southern West Virginia, where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Amber.

After graduating from Concord Universiy in 2005, he moved to North Carolina to attend pharmacy school. In 2006, he published his first novel, the sci-fi adventure HAVEN. In 2011, he graduated from Campbell University with his doctorate in pharmacy and a master's in clinical research. Afterward, he moved back to West Virginia to begin his career as a retail pharmacist. His latest milestone is the publication of the romantic thriller THE BRIDE OF CHRIST.
