میر شمس‌الدین ادیب‌سلطانی (زادهٔ ۱۳۱۰)، پزشک، فیلسوف، زبان‌شناس و مترجم متون مهم ادبی و فلسفی است. او مترجم منطق ارسطو، سنجش خرد ناب کانت و همچنین رسالهٔ منطقی-فلسفی ویتگنشتاین به زبان فارسی است. وی به‌زبان‌های انگلیسی، آلمانی، فرانسه، یونانی، عربی، ایتالیایی، روسی، عبری، ارمنی، لاتین، پهلوی، اوستایی و زبان‌های پارسی باستان مسلط است.

وی دکترای پزشکی خود را از دانشکده علوم پزشکی دانشگاه تهران دریافت کرد. برای ادامهٔ تحصیل در زمینهٔ روان‌پزشکی بالینی و تحقیقات بیوشیمی به وین رفت. اطلاعات اندکی از زندگی‌نامهٔ ادیب موجود است.
