I write, mostly books for kids but often whatever I can get paid for.

It still sorta freaks me out, in a good way, to think that people will pay me to do someting I love so much. Or that I can walk into a bookstore or a library and see a book I wrote on the shelf. Wow.

Thank you readers, teachers, and librarians. Thank you.

You can read more than you would ever want to about me over at my website: [http://www.susantaylorbrown.com] or visit my blog [http://susanwrites.livejournal.com]

Just a reminder that my blog has moved to:

If you have subscribed in the past, you will need to resubscribe as there was a loss of the subscriber database, le sigh.

I just jumped back into Poetry Friday with an original poem, Poetry Waits For Me.

Daniel I envy you, Susan Taylor Brown, because while I write books for grown ups, your books for the young are the rocks of the very foundation of the culture of this country in which we all live.
