Michael Hill first encountered the work of Jack Kirby, inarguably the greatest creator/writer in the history of comics, at the age of 7 in a Hamilton convenience store. Fueled by the proceeds from his paper route seven years later, he would return to Kirby's bronze age work, discover the truth, and never leave. Kirby's story has been largely suppressed by his silver age publisher, a carnival barker, and a lackey. A Spanish language Kirby masterpiece

I recently began reading the complete run of Jack Kirby's Sky Masters daily newspaper strips in Spanish. This endeavour is nothing short of a joy thanks to the exquisite Sky Masters of the Space Force: Recopilación de todas las tiras diarias (1958-1961).

Michael Hill liked Regis Philbert's review of The Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O. (D.O.D.O. #1): "Fun premise and I admire the attempts at epistolary format, but the format criminally undersells the action and dramatic bits. It's a long one, with tons of barely sketched out characters continuously added. Might do better as a tv series?"
