He was the child of a family from Istanbul, but he was born and raised in Ankara. He studied Journalism at the Faculty of Communication, saying "I do not do journalism, I cannot." He chose academic life because he didn't want to do journalism.

Nevertheless, he also worked as a reporter to make a living, and he was a page designer in the newspapers. He also served as editor of publishing houses, and he was editor-in-chief in news websites. He also worked as a writer for the advertising agency and taught at the university.

He still organizes anime screenings, reads manga and comics, volunteer Japanese Cultural Attaché. He is trying to complete the Book of Turkish Press History and continues to write articles on the media. ...more
