Afonso Eiré López, coñecido como Pucheiro, nado na Laxe (Chantada) o 15 de febreiro de 1955, é un xornalista e escritor galego.

Estudou no Seminario de Lugo. Aos 14 anos comezou a colaborar en El Progreso e aos 16 dirixiu a revista xuvenil O Cabeceiro. Estudou xornalismo na Universidade de Madrid. Colaborou en diversos medios de carácter estatal. En 1977 comezou a traballar en A Nosa Terra encargándose das páxinas deportivas. En 1981, despois dunha crise encargouse de remodelar o semanario e formar un novo equipo e entre 1983 e 2007 foi o seu director. En 2007 ascendeu a conselleiro delegado de A Nosa Terra. Actualmente e comentarista político e presidente da Fundación A Nosa Terra.
