Lori was born and raised in Orillia, Ontario, Canada, and has been tirelessly working to raise awareness about the plight of the British Home Children since 2010. Her work has gained recognition on a global scale. As the founder and President of Home Children Canada, she has established herself as a leading voice in Canada for the over 100,000 children who were sent to Canada from the UK between 1869 and 1948 as part of a child migration scheme. Her dedication and commitment to the cause has inspired many, and her advocacy efforts have helped to bring about positive change and greater awareness of this important issue.
