Ilse de Korte



Ilse de Korte studied drama and languages at the University of Cape Town and did research for her PhD on myths and ideology in the Netherlands. As lecturer she taught at the University Adam Miskiewicz in Poland, the film school AFDA and Unisa. In 2013 De Korte published an Afrikaans interpretation of the Kama Sutra, titled Afrikamasutra (Unisa Press). Die jaar toe Emma begin kook het is her chick-lit debut.
