“As part of the evaluation she underwent an EEG (electroencephalogram) that revealed an interesting finding of some right-sided temporal lobe spike discharges, for which she received tegretol for a time, possibly with some improvement. But doing blood draws to assess tegretol levels became a monumental task because of her noncompliant behavior, and eventually it got to the point where it appeared tegretol had stopped producing any tangible benefits.”
