Dara Wilkinson Bobb is from Trinidad and Tobago. She writes fiction and also life writing. In her twenties, Dara enjoyed volunteering at Trini Carnival mas camps, helping to construct hundreds of costumes. Later, she also helped in underserved communities, giving free English lessons to teens and children. In 2021, she collaborated with her friends and business partners to donate 600 books to high school libraries.
