Andreea Ivascu, also known as Andreea Ana Maria or simply, Ani, was born in Timisoara Romania in 1990. She grew up in Timisoara and spent most of her young years there, up until the age of 21. After having completed a Bachelor in Psychology, she continued her studies in Umeå, Sweden, where she lived for 2 years. As soon as she got her Masters degree in Cognitive Science, she moved again, this time going to Germany in search for a job.

Be it as it may, her academic background has almost nothing to do with her writing. She has been writing ever since she has known herself.
