Bevan teaches both little kids and big kids. While teaching and researching Bevan struggled to find children's picture books that demonstrated empathy and supported kids to think critically. This led to Bevan starting Connell's Fables in 2014, writing and illustrating stories that encourage both critical thinking and empathy. Bevan is driven by the need to see more children supported to think for themselves and learn that it's okay to ask questions and engage in powerful conversations.
