Having worked through several major policy shifts in Canadian credit markets, including tightening anti-money laundering laws, evolving disclosure requirements, and fluctuating interest rate environments, Alexis approaches lending with an awareness of compliance frameworks and borrower protection. He contributes to policy consultations when called upon, offering perspectives grounded in the realities of small-scale lending and the impact of regulation on individual borrowers and professionals.

Originally from Switzerland, Alexis immigrated to Canada in 1999. He has lived in several countries, including Thailand, Hong Kong, Australia, and the United States. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of British Columbia. Outside of work, his interests include history, geopolitics, comedy, language, and strength training.
