Amy Romanczuk is an self-taught pysanky artist and book aficionado. She has been writing pysanky since 1996. Several of Amy’s original design pysanky were accepted to the collection of Kolomyia Museum of Hutsul Folk Art (Kolomyiskyi muzei narodnoho mystetstva Hutsulshchyny) in Ukraine. She has taken the designs and details of her craft to inkwork, paintings, and coloring art. Her works can be found in several galleries and online at czukart.com.

Amy was also an officially licensed The Wheel of Time™ artist specializing in pysanky and pysanky-inspired art based on Robert Jordan’s acclaimed series. Patterns of the Wheel, her second coloring book, depicts motifs from The Wheel of Time books, drawn in her distinct folk art style.

Reading a lot of Nordic mysteries lately. This one got some great reviews and recommendations, but it's a little ponderous to read. I don't know if that's the author or the translator. However it has non-ponderous detail, and some characters that fee ...more

A quirky and enjoyable closed box mystery on a snowbound train. A bit bloodier than Murder on the Orient Express, but definitely a point for true love.

Thanks for seeking me out! I'm always interested in people who are interested in books. Your shelves look like it will provide me with some new things to add to my wish list.

for-much-deliberation ... Hello bookczuk, thanks for the friendship...

chucklesthescot No longer a member of the group on goodreads! I'm still on bc-not ready to give up on it despite its problems! I'll be keeping my eye on Alternate Bookcrossers and might join that at some point.

Wait -- no longer a member of the group or no longer a member of BookCrossing?!

chucklesthescot I just read your comments about the new rules for the bookcrossing group and I'm glad I'm not a member now. I don't always post in the groups that I'm in but I read a lot of the threads and discussions, getting new ideas for books. I don't always have time to post on each site and don't like the idea of being told what to do and how often to post.

Good for you for defending the lurkers! I'm glad I'm no longer a member!
