Probably most of my personal outings have been solo. Most of my friends don’t share my fascination with the outdoors, especially when it comes to carrying a backpack into remote areas of Lake Superior State Forest, and staying for days at a time. This trip was one of those. I set out from the back of our property, cutting cross-country through public forest with my faithful Siberian husky, Moki.
