Daniel J. Patinkin is a Chicago-based author. He has published two narrative nonfiction books: The Crippler: Cage Fighting and My Life on the Edge (Skyhorse Publishing, 2016) and The Trigger: Narratives of the American Shooter (Arcade Publishing, 2018). His newest collection of short stories, entitled Vestiges, is set for release in Fall of 2024. Patinkin's work has been featured and/or reviewed in the The Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, USA Today, Salon, Publishers Weekly, Kirkus Reviews, Vice, Library Journal, and more.
