A.F. Knott was born in New York City. He has worked as a surveyor in the Offshore Oil Industry, a lunch deliverer, a paper broker, a thoroughbred handicapper, a cyclotron engineer and a physician before starting a publishing company. I am so proud of Michael D. Davis, this kid from Iowa who is NOT afraid to do his thing. We were honored to be part of his early journey as author and cartoonist. Big things ahead. THAT’S the point.
