Nathan Pipenberg was born in Ohio in 1991. He studied journalism at Penn State University and has written for magazines including Backpacker and Wilderness. His writing includes short fiction and travelogues from adventures including a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. He currently lives in New Zealand.
