Canadian living in Iceland. On the one hand, I write interdisciplinary scholarship (literary criticism, philosophy, cosmology). Eager to hear about how prominent American authors incorporate pragmatist (doesn’t mean practical) ideas into their fiction? Dying to learn about the relationship between being and nothing during the beginning of the universe? You have come to the right place! On the other hand, I write literary fiction that engages selectively with certain genres (sports, horror, thriller). How do these two modes of writing overlap? They don’t! They’re different worlds. Outside of books, I jog and lift weights, with incorrect form, and travel as much as possible.
