Shari Kasman’s latest book, Rocks Don’t Move and Other Questionable Facts, compiles 100 anonymous handwritten submissions she received in exchange for books she was giving away in a box outside her house. She is the creator of two photobooks about Toronto’s Galleria Mall and the author of a collection of short stories entitled Everything Life Has to Offer (Invisible Publishing, 2016). Her visual art also includes a 350-foot photocollage surrounding a construction site in midtown Toronto. Kasman's background is in music; she has been teaching piano since the early 2000s. ...more
