I'm the author of two modern etiquette books and two cookbooks. I was, for many years, the editor-in-chief of Canada's best-read fashion magazine. After years of covering the runways of Paris and Milan, I traded in my stilettos for spatulas. I left traditional media a few years ago to launch, along with my business partner Laura Keogh, a family food site called Sweet Potato Chronicles. We've loved creating a place where families can come for recipes, strategies and a laugh while we make our way through the challenges of parenting. Our latest book, The School Year Survival Cookbook is all about making it through the school year, getting healthy food on the table and into lunch boxes, all while maintaining our sanity.
