Un-Quantum Physics

“Find a penny, pick it up. All day long you’ll have good luck”

I do this often. I come across a lot of random pennies in my daily path. Question: am I lucky because of the penny OR because every day when I repeat it (and it happens many times a day) I inform the universe this is indeed a lucky day for me?
