Awen Eibner wurde im letzten Jahrzehnt des zwanzigsten Jahrhunderts geboren und wuchs in Österreich auf. Bereits früh war sie von Büchern begeistert und probierte sich erstmals am Verfassen von Texten. 2011 vollendete sie ihren ersten Roman, den sie zwar zu veröffentlichen gedachte, es aber nie ernstlich versuchte. Drei Jahre später schrieb sie „Wellenflügel“ und ein Jahr darauf die beiden Folgeromane.
2016 publizierte sie ihren Debütroman „Wellenflügel“ per Selfpublishing und begann mit dem Verfassen von Rezensionen. Seitdem betreibt sie einen kleinen Blog, auf dem sie diese veröffentlicht.

Sehr informativ und eingehend recherchiert, benötigt aber einiges an biologischem Vorwissen, da viele Konzepte in bestenfalls zwei Sätzen abgehandelt werden.
