Acorn Foraging in the News
This weekend I stumbled on this newspaper article from the Belle Plaine Herald back in 2018, when I did a community presentation about foraging with acorns in a nearby town. I brought acorn spice cupcakes with cream cheese frosting for the attendees, and we also made racahout, a delicious historic hot acorn drink.

This is delightful, educational and fun. I may have to buy at least one for gifts. Highly recommended for anyone who loves birds, bugs, nature, science, cool facts and silliness. I read a temporary digital copy of this book via netgalley. |
