I wrote my first book at 5 y.o.--It was a cookbook and I didn't know how to cook, so you can imagine how well that turned out.

I've been writing fiction stories since my teen years, first trying my hand at romance, before moving into more upmarket speculative works.

I had people tell me throughout my career that I should write kids books, but I always dismissed them, never knowing that I only lacked inspiration, and that it would come in the form of my daughter.
