Salvage the Bones by Jesmyn Ward
"
An uncompromisingly bleak look at life in bayou-like coastal Mississippi (in the days just prior to the arrival of Hurricane Katrina), Jesmyn Ward's Salvage the Bones occasionally soars above the sordid panorama it paints, and shimmers with haunting " Read more of this review »

Georges Perec
Georges Perec, Les Choses

Stephen King, Everything's Eventual
