Kim van Schie is journalist en een enthousiaste, gedreven en creatieve verhalenverteller. Als kind kroop ze daarvoor het liefst achter een ouderwetsche typemachine. Later gebruikte ze vooral de microfoon en camera om verhalen op te tekenen als journalist. Inmiddels is ze eigenaar van haar eigen bedrijf Storyline Media en heeft ze ook de pen weer opgepakt. Als tekstschrijver en maker van online video’s vertelt ze nu ook de verhalen van allerlei organisaties en bedrijven. Maar haar eerste boek gaat over haar eigen persoonlijke verhaal: de adoptie van haar dochter Pauline.
