Karnika Sen is a housewife.She teaches English in her spare time.She has started writing when she was very young.Her first love was poetry.She has published short stories,light essays and several articles on Sri Sarada Ma,Rabindranath Tagore and Sister Nivedita.She also has written a sequel to Rabindranath Tagore's famous novel,'Sesher Kabita-The Last Poems'.
She has a passionate love for Nature and is deeply concerned about the hazards of environmental pollution and global warming.Her love for Nature runs parallel to her love for children.It is for their sake she wants people to think what they can do to prevent the disaster which we are going to face in the future. ...more
