Bob (Robert K.) Morris grew up in southeastern Michigan during the 1950s and 1960s at the knees of some of the greatest labor leaders in Michigan. These men and women told the stories that Morris has confirmed through his research for this book. As an adult, Morris has spent four decades developing public policy in Lansing, Michigan's state capitol. Morris currently resides in Canton, Michigan, with his wife, Terry, and their dog, Monco.
