S.L. Philips has lived in boring Midwest subdivisions for most of her life. In order to provide dramatic relief, she adopted a parrot and writes stories about soccer moms in peril. She enjoys this life despite nursing triangle-shaped bites on her arms while hovering over thesaurus.com. When her three children fly the coop, she and the parrot will pack the RV for some swashbuckling adventures.
