Jane Callaghan was raised in a large loving family. Living in Auckland, New Zealand, growing up was idyllic.
A love of children led her to train as a NZ Karitane Nurse (child nurse). A yearn to travel took her overseas. On returning, she retrained as a secretary and worked in many areas including Office Administration and Sales.
In 1999 she married and moved to Christchurch where she and her husband had purchased a business. With the arrival of the children, Alexandra then, soon after, Frazer and Frazer's diagnosis of autism, Jane retrained as a teacher's aide in special needs so she could continue to work and also be there for the children.
When her marriage dissolved, Jane and the children moved back to Auckland to be close to family. They ...more
