Cara started writing in 2013 after falling in love with it whilst housebound from the iatrogenic condition, Topical Steroid Addiction, which she has since made a full recovery from. She is now an advocate for the relatively unknown condition which affects thousands of people around the world. Cara also has a popular blog about her skin journey which can be found here: www.tswcara.blogspot.com.

In December 2017, she released the book, Curing my Incurable Eczema, about her battle with Topical Steroid Addiction, which reached the top five in the dermatology book charts on Amazon.
