Some of what I consider my best chapters have come after sitting down knowing where I need to go but thinking, "I'm never going to get 3,000 words out of this." Once you start putting words on paper, either inspiration kicks in or it doesn't. Either way, at least you've got something to go back to with a fresh eye to either improve on or scratch out and try a different tack. (less)

The Gospel of E-Gold (working title)

Watz and Boog go out to L.A. to help Coochie Clair track down her missing agent. Besides a murder (of course) and a fair amount of farce, the book includes a lot of flashbacks to Coochie's dealings with the small army of previous fired agents. I'm currently in heavy rewrite and hope to have this out later in the year. (less)
