“I pledge my head to clearer thinking, my heart to greater loyalty, and my hands to greater service for my club, my community, my country, and my world.”
Jason Blake, 10 Things I Learned Living On An Island

“Slogans, plans, hash tags, and eureka moments do nothing in the real world unless they inspire someone to take operational responsibility for making the ideas happen.”
Jason Blake, 10 Things I Learned Living On An Island

“our world, which is now dominated by social media, a new catchphrase has taken hold: slacktivist. Slacktivists post articles or rant online about issues, but when it comes down to it, they don’t practice what they preach. They complain about politics, but don’t vote. They post about a cause they believe in, but don’t donate or volunteer. It’s not cool to be a slacktivist.”
