1973年生，土生土長的東京人， 自封「未婚專家」。

曾於大型唱片公司擔任宣傳，歷經十多年與「男性社會」苦戰的社員生活，末期留下「失戀暴瘦25公斤」的傳說。

　探討兩性、戀愛、家庭問題的專欄常見於《CREA》、《VERY》等女性雜誌；在TBS電台擁有黃金時段節目包括「Jane Su的生活在跳舞」、「Let’s so dance」。

轉戰作家成績亮眼，著有《問題是，妳想當少女到幾歲？》（幻冬社）、《Let’s so dance》（Poplar）、《我們沒被求婚的101個理由》（Poplar），其中《問題是，妳想當少女到幾歲？》一書榮獲第31回講談社散文獎。

「最Ｓ的Jane Su」現以廣播主持、專欄作家、歌詞創作等多元身分活躍各界，舉凡生活情報、戀愛煩惱、人生智慧，為日本無數少熟女最倚賴的建言者。
