very engaging, and i quite enjoyed the world building and characters, but a few elements to the actual writing and the execution left me feeling slightly jolted and kind of wanting. giving three stars feels a bit too low, and four stars a bit too hig ...more

i really enjoyed the tone of this book but i think a few times the narrative gets lost in the exposition and prose.

a very engaging world, and although it is clear the author knows how to use words there were a few technical issues with the book that kind of annoyed me. should have had a better editor.
