Fernando Ferrone nasceu em Jardinópolis, São Paulo, em 1981. Apaixonado desde jovem por literatura, durante o ensino médio contribuía com o jornal local publicando crônicas. Cursou Ciências Sociais na Unicamp e defendeu seu mestrado em História Contemporânea na Université de Borgogne, em Dijon, França. Novamente no Brasil, trabalhou como editor e tradutor. Aos 36 anos, retoma a produção literária lançando seu primeiro romance.
