Of course, you probably can guess that Guy of Gisborne is my favorite character, just as Robin is Olivia's favorite character. And yes, the sheriff does have a psychological hold over Guy which is revealed in the third book - great catch!

I also appreciated your mention that "Lionhearted" might be an Americanism. I didn't realize that, and I was working hard to avoid Americanisms while keeping the book from being strictly British in its word usage. I was hoping to satisfy readers on both sides of the pond. Olivia is not a native English speaker, although she has spent quite a bit of time in England, and she is wonderfully fluent.

And now to answer your question - actually "Robin Hood's Widow" was written by Olivia before "Robin Hood's Dawn" was written! So there is a finished draft that needs some work (such as removing Olivia's lovely accent from the dialogue) and editing. The third book (Robin Hood's Return) is half finished. The obstacle at this point is that we were hoping that sales of the first book would help finance the publishing of the second, and the second would help finance the third. Unfortunately, although we've received a lot of wonderful reviews (such as yours), sales have been disappointing. At this point, we have no choice but to approach some publishers to see if we can continue publishing through a publisher. Olivia is working on sending query letters at this time.

Thank you again! If you feel comfortable leaving your review at Amazon (especially the main Amazon site), it would be great, but of course, it is your choice. And if you have questions about anything in the book, I can try to answer them, unless the answer would be a spoiler.

"Oh i enjoyed this immensely. It's a bit chaotic but sooo funny, with ear boxing, karate kicks and retribution for our villains!

The writing style Is a bit "raw" but no sign of AI (as much i can identify anyway).
