Pelin Kıvrak, Ocak 1988’de Tekirdağ’da doğdu. 2007’de Koç Özel Lisesi’nden mezun oldu. 2011’de Harvard Üniversitesi’nden Edebiyat alanında lisans derecesi aldıktan sonra bir yıl Masumiyet Müzesi’nde asistanlık yaptı. 2012’de Yale Üniversitesi’nde Karşılaştırmalı Edebiyat doktorasına başladı. Çalışmalarını halen yürüttüğü doktora tezinde yirminci yüzyılda kozmopolitanizm kavramını romanlar ve filmler üzerinden inceliyor.
