She lives in South Carolina with her husband, Kevin, and two daughters, Eden and Shiloh as they work with teenage girls in foster care. While she is known to her community as the playdate planner always up for a social gathering, she is also vulnerable when it comes to her struggles. She writes for Waiting in Hope Infertility, Her View from Home, and Shaunti Feldhahn. She has been the host of the Book Therapy podcast since 2022 and can be found online at kimpatton.com. She is the author of Nothing Wasted: Struggling Well through Difficult Seasons.

It reminded me of the Dutch House. Soothing writing, easy characters with simple storytelling. I skipped the last quarter. Not enough plot to move the book along.

Oh man. What a book. She’s brilliant and so humble. So kind to others and maybe not herself, but at least she admits that. I absolutely love her pure relationship with God and how her husband has helped her heal from abuse in her past. I will be read ...more
