Catherine Fouron est l’auteure du blogue Journal d’une insomniaque – conversations avec mon hamster, qu’elle nourrit depuis 2010 et qui a servi d’inspiration au roman du même nom. Elle a collaboré au défunt webzine Mères et Cie dans lequel elle signait les « Chroniques d’une mère parfaite ». Elle habite Montréal avec ses deux enfants. Journal d’une insomniaque est son premier roman.
