Valter Tucci is Senior Group Leader of the Neurobehavioural Genetics group at the Italian Institute of Technology (Genoa).

Valter Tucci ha seguito un percorso di
studi molto particolare: laureato in psicologia,
dopo una specializzazione in medicina
ha vinto una borsa di studio del Cnr
per gli Stati Uniti, è stato chiamato dal
Dipartimento di Anatomia e Neurobiologia
della Boston University e ha successivamente
lavorato presso il prestigioso
Massachusetts Institute of Technology
(MIT). Nel 2003 è tornato in Europa e
dopo un lungo periodo a Oxford è diventato
direttore del laboratorio di genetica
ed epigenetica del comportamento dell’Istituto
Italiano di Tecnologia di Genova.
