​Rick Charles is a wildlife enthusiast, avid outdoorsman, and writer born and raised in Munising, Michigan. Having grown up in the beautiful north country, Charles naturally developed an enthusiasm for nature. With a professional background in exotic animal husbandry and wildlife education, through his writing Charles strives not only to engage, but also to educate and inspire. His passions for adventure and prehistoric life were expressed through an Internet science fiction series called Prehistoric Camp, which he wrote during his early-mid teenage years (2008-2010) before shelving the project for various reasons. He is now an independently published author.
