Cecily Winter is a pen name of Susan B. Iwanisziw, PhD, who has many academic articles and essays as well as two books dealing with British and American literature.
Cecily Winter's short fiction for children and adults--which tends toward the speculative and ghastly--has been traditionally published. Recently, she published three far-future fantasies for children through Barnes and Noble Press.

Dog Love

This is the second Adrian Walker apocalyptic novel I read in two days, and I could barely put down.
I loved Mr. Walker's flawed but shining heroes and sincerely loathed the irredeemable baddies. (If you crave deep ambiguity in your British characters, you may want to stick to literary fiction.)
