R.P. Huttinga was born and raised in a small farming town in Ontario, Canada. His family moved to the country when he was six-years-old, and he loved playing with his dog, whom he considered his best friend. Together the pair would explore the family hobby farm, embarking on daily adventures. At an early age, Huttinga fell in love with the west coast and eventually fulfilled his dream and moved to Vancouver Island where he currently lives with his wife and daughter.
