He was born in Ziçisht, Korça region, Albania the son of Thoma and Fana (Karanxha) Andoni and emigrated to US (Worcester, MA) in 1997. He was a well known author in Albania publishing over 30 novels and non fiction short stories, many being translated into German, French and Italian. One of his books later was made into a movie. He was a member of the Academy of Arts in Albania.
